Near launch, the team defines a content or data freeze, final delta import, DNS and domain changes, test transactions, operational handover, and rollback criteria. Some temporary limitations may be needed to keep the two systems consistent.

The goal is not zero change at any cost. It is a controlled window where orders, customers, inventory, content, and fulfilment cannot silently diverge. The cutover plan should name the owner and expected duration of every dependency.
