Subscriptions and integrations can often be moved or rebuilt, but each system needs a separate assessment. We review data ownership, APIs, export quality, recurring-payment constraints, token portability, customer impact, business rules, webhooks, failure handling, and vendor support before confirming the approach.
How Inficial approaches it
Treat each external system as its own migration workstream
An app with the same category does not guarantee equivalent data or behaviour. Document the source workflow, destination owner, mapping rules, test cases, cutover order, reconciliation, and fallback for subscriptions, ERP, PIM, CRM, fulfilment, tax, search, reviews, loyalty, and support systems.
Integration assessment questions
- Who owns the source data and credentials?
- Can records and active states be exported and imported?
- Which IDs, events, and business rules change?
- How will failed or duplicate events be detected?
- What manual fallback exists during cutover?
